One thing I noticed when I got Follow Me to work, was that when you are in vehicle #1 and stop vehicle #2 with right-shift-F, vehicle #2's engine stops. Maybe this had something to do with Follow Me being active at the time I was switching Stop and Go Braking on and off. I did switched Stop and Go Braking on and off a few times while testing and suddenly I could not deactivate Follow Me on any of the following vehicles (it said that it couldn't find the trail) and had to exit the game. Then I happened to go in and change Stop and Go Braking to On (I had Follow Me active on vehicle #2 at this time and had driven vehicle #1 a little bit ahead) and immediately vehicle #2 started moving and Follow Me worked fine after that. However, once vehicle #2 catches up and if you come to a complete stop in vehicle #1 (like at an intersection), vehicle #2 won't move again (but driving closely past it again restarts it). After a bit of playing around I discovered it would move if I turned vehicle #1 around and drove close to vehicle #2 - it's like it caused vehicle #2 to release the brakes and start moving. When I first tried Follow Me, vehicle #2 would not move. I thought I'd post more info on how I found out why the following vehicles didn't move once you activated Follow Me in case you are interested.įirst, I've been playing the game with 'Stop and Go Braking' and 'Automatic Engine Start' turned off since I got the game. As others have also said, this is a fantastic mod and I almost can't play the game without it (been using it since FS2013).
